About me.

I grew up in New York, where I worked hard as an athlete from a very young age. My love for fitness started with basketball - I can still remember my dad lifting me on his shoulders so I could reach the hoop as a little girl. I continued to play ball, dance, run and various other sports as I got older.  As captain of my sports teams, I loved the camaraderie, and learned the leadership required to build a successful team. My passion for fitness has grown and evolved ever since.

After an ACL tear during my senior basketball season, the intense physical therapy inspired a fascination with biomechanics — and the amazing ways our bodies can move.  I kept learning and improving my own fitness as I finished college with a degree in business and literature (yes, I'm a book nerd as well!).  The rest is history!

I now live in California with my husband, and love the year-round access to the outdoors - swimming, walks on the beach, hiking and more. If I’m not outdoors or at the gym, I can usually be found hanging out with friends, Starbucks in hand, or planning a new adventure. Wanderlust is a real thing! I travel with my husband or best friends as much as possible, and get back to the East Coast often to visit.

While I love my career in Growth Marketing, I was itching to  pursue my passion for fitness. I became certified in my spare time; in addition to individual training, I teach ~3 group classes a week at a studio in my city, ranging from boxing/kickboxing to weights to cardio sculpt.

From HIIT training to strength, to boxing, barre, and dance parties in my living room, I love to challenge myself and have fun! Ultimately, I want to help people find joy in the exploration of movement to keep strong, healthy and happy.
